I've seen a lot of two car garage threads lately so I thought I'd throw my hat into the ring. So what would be your pre-1975 two car garage? My choice would be:
The Jensen Interceptor FF.
and the Jaguar MK2
because Rule Britannia.

I think mine would be a 1970 Nova Yenko Deuce
And a 1967 Porsche 911S

Rule Brittania hey?
Daily OG Mini Cooper:

I love seeing lesser known Muscle cars. Maybe I'm just bored of Mustangs, Camaros and Chargers but more often then not they look more appealing to me.

Convertible or Coupe?

I love it when people choose relatively normal cars for wish lists like this.
![]() 08/03/2014 at 09:59 |

oooooh I'm having a crisis. I didn't know a convertible Daytona existed or that it looked that good.

How about a CX and SM, both from '74?
![]() 08/03/2014 at 10:01 |
|
Well, my right now wishlist is pretty normal too: a 2000 EK9 Civic Type R in Championship White and a 2005 BMW M3 E46 in Laguna Seca Blue. Both are pretty "normal" in comparison to super cars. So I think my classic edition kind of just reflects that about me.

Yep made of 100% pure sex.

I've never owned a Citroen.

I'll be the first to admit that things are better now and that Modern cars are great but for all their greatest they are rarely ever that interesting unlike old Citreons.
![]() 08/03/2014 at 10:05 |

Definetely a full size muscle car. The Charger...
And something more nimble to toss around on a B road. I admit I'd have to try out a few small(ish) roadsters in order to find out which is the best driving experience for me, but this TR6 could be it:

I screwed up my reply, it wasn't intended as a response to you :)

This is a fantasy garage, right?
![]() 08/03/2014 at 10:07 |

um.
![]() 08/03/2014 at 10:08 |

Damn man you have probably picked the too most manly cars on each side of the pond. Good stuff I think I just grew another beard.

Sure unless your numbers come up.
![]() 08/03/2014 at 10:12 |

And the best part is that they both can be driven everyday. No need to worry about finding a parking space or getting a sore arse.

One passed by me on the street a few months ago. I heard the V12 burble first, my jaw smacking the ground next.

BMW 2002 Turbo
& Lamborghini Miura
![]() 08/03/2014 at 10:22 |

As good as the E30 is, all it does is make me wish the 2002 was cheaper. A lot cheaper.

Very daily. A guy once drove his DS through a flood simply by raising the suspension to its max setting, whilst everyone else in modern machines floundered.
![]() 08/03/2014 at 10:25 |
|
yeah basically, the 2002 is an amazing vehicle and in turbo form.... wow (expensive)
![]() 08/03/2014 at 10:26 |

What about
1) a Pug 404 Coupé Injection
2) a Lancia Flaminia 3C 2.8 Supersport?

I don't know why but both look like old Italian police cars to me.
![]() 08/03/2014 at 10:38 |
|
I wonder why...
![]() 08/03/2014 at 10:44 |

The Germans used a non-German police car? You won't see that nowadays. Anyway, two great picks.
![]() 08/03/2014 at 10:46 |

I think I might have gave the Italian police too much credit. I imagined them being a lot more stylish.

Go one, be brave. Pick one of those garages. I dare you.
![]() 08/03/2014 at 11:35 |

I honestly couldn't but if you're going to put a gun to my head........
really because I've wanted a Fairlane 500 for about the last 6 years.

I mean look at it.
Oh, you wanted a wagon?
![]() 08/03/2014 at 11:41 |

I agree. Of all the Americana, I have always preferred these kinds of vehicles to the Muscle cars.

Mini cooper S and Fiat 500 Abarth.

They have been many great automotive battles between England and Italy but weirdly Superminis was never one, well it should be.

Space 1: one of these. Porthole window mandatory. Don't care what's in space 2.
![]() 08/03/2014 at 13:16 |

Oh god, there is something wrong with me, really wrong. I like that porthole, I know I shouldn't but I like it. Am I going to be okay?

I was just at the Schlumpf!

Is this picture misleading and that car is really 20 ft wide and thus needs both spaces?

don't worry about it. even if you're not, you'll be faaaahn.

If the world around me suddenly became 1975, my dad would be 3 years old, and this would be the garage I'd like to find when I get there:
'73 Porsche 911 2.7 RS, white w/ blue decals.
'75 BMW 528 (carburated E12), red.
![]() 08/03/2014 at 22:37 |

#1: 1969 Corvette, Lemans Blue Metallic, Tri-Power L89 427-
#2: 1970 Trans Am, Polar White, Ram Air V 400-
![]() 08/04/2014 at 22:31 |

1971 AMC Javelin
My other choice would be a 1974 Jeep Cherokee I suppose, although i'd rather have a '79 or so (widetrack)
![]() 08/05/2014 at 15:41 |

YAWN. All so predictable. Give me a Dymaxion and the Rounds Rocket.
![]() 08/05/2014 at 15:43 |

Those two are by far and away the best choices for practicality and fun.

I'm on the mailing list for my local track (Hallett, in Oklahoma) and someone's been taking one of these bad beasts out there lately...
